Prov 20:30 Stripes that wound scour away evil, and strokes {reach} the innermost parts.(NAS)
This verse reminds me of the promise:
Rom 8:28 And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to {His} purpose.(NAS)
Even wounds that we endure work to perfect our character. Everything that happens is part of God's plan no matter how painful or difficult it is to understand.
