Slippery Letdown

This morning we heard tell of slick conditions, ice, and snow; my nephew's school was even two hours delayed.
But I still have to go. If SPSCC won't shut down for record flooding, it won't shut down for a little ice. So off we went. We expected to hit the ice at any time, but it never came. I'd say it was a little bit of a letdown, but at the same time a relief.
